An old-fashioned potager garden where flowers and vegetables are grown in the same area. Simple gardening and easy to do. It doesn’t take a lot of extra planning to tuck some orange nasturtiums here and there among the chard. Or to interplant marigolds with tomatoes and basil. Use whatever flowers you like, simply give them the room to grow near the flowers to brighten up the vegetable area. The more useful the flower (cut flowers, herbal, insect-reducing) the better but hey, it’s your garden so use the flowers you like.
